Touring “Berlinetta Lusso”

Ferrari F12 (currently) is the most powerful road car, not a limited edition ever of Maranello.

Imagine being able to have its chassis, its engine, its incredible performance … .sotto a unique dress …

A gala dress, since the body of which we speak is the result of an atelier (yes because the term “body” is nothing short of an understatement) that starting from the lines of art nouveau of the F12, it draws a line racy 3 volumes (the third little more than hinted) that pays tribute to the golden age of Italian-built car with proportions to which we are not used.

Technically a special mention deserves the further reduction of weight that goes from 1630 kg to 1525 kg of the F12 Berlinetta Lusso, obtained inter alia with the use of materials such as carbon, used for the bonnet, bumper skirts and rear tailgate . The used aluminum panels are fully beaten by hand.

Needless to say (of accomplishments of this kind and technical depth is a must) that the aerodynamics of the car is the result of careful wind tunnel studies (and are reflected on the performance ..)

Complete the profile 2 year warranty with unlimited mileage on all the modified components, the availability of spare parts to the production (by the company) to life and the regular homologation for road use.

Well … I’m sure you get the idea exclusivity of this car.

There are other good reasons to understand that the Berlinetta Lusso will be a collector car?

In other words, because the car is an istant classic? Simple: handicraft (5000 hours of work necessary for its implementation) basic mechanics and chassis of the highest level, but mostly only 5 units produced ….

I believe that the Berlinetta Lusso more than Instant Classic, both borderline between this category and that of the One-Off (models made in a single copy, but in this class we will discuss in other sections).

That would give value to a car whose price make the owner of the same?

Any sports car (also of great value) not a limited edition (ie “standard”) is intended (at least in the short to medium term) to see its share price decline than its purchase price.

Try to purchase a Berlinetta Lusso a few years in an auction house (I do not see better location) or if you’re lucky, the owner … .scordatevi the purchase price (which probably will never know …)

Oh I forgot … the car has performance unchanged from the model from which it is derived: 0-100km / h in 3.1 seconds, maximum speed 340 km / h …
